606, tv-tv program, 2005

This 28 minutes long tv program was produced for tv-tv by fff – more people mediate (Morten Goll & Joachim Hamou). The reknowned Arne Jacobsen suite 606 at Hotel SAS Radisson, Copenhagen is the location for a debate on the nature of Danishness and nationalism. The participating danes are all second generation migrants from Pakistan, India and the Middle East. Thus, although they are Danes by birth and experience, their features are those of stereotypical non-Danes. On the other hand, the strangers, being from the US, Latvia, UK, etc. all look like stereotype Danes, although their skills in the Danish language is some what limited. The concept is aiming at an investigation of the power of framing as it is performed by mass media.
